ATTENTION- BACKERKIT UPDATE (Language Selection)

Hello everyone,
It was recently pointed out that the pledges were defaulting to English/French instead of giving everyone a language option.
Add-ons and pre-orders worked appropriately, but every game pledged through Kickstarter was automatically assigned to be English/French editions.
We've corrected this, but doing so removed copies from everyone's order (Argh! So sorry!) until they log back in and answer the new survey question for language.
So, we ask that all backers please log back in and re-complete their surveys. All of your old details and any add-on selections will be there so it should take less than a minute.
And no one has been charged for extras yet so this will not result in you being charged twice.
When you click on your survey link you'll be sent to the beginning of the survey as shown below. There's only 1 Survey question:
From here, all of your selections will be the same as when you previously filled out the survey, so you can hit those big green Next buttons unless you want to grab some new items.
We apologise for this inconvenience but this will help us give everyone a smooth and on time delivery.

Pledge Manager and Late Pledges Open!

G'day everyone! Our pledge manager is going live today! Over the next two days everyone will receive their invite to fill in their surveys (please check the email address associated with your Kickstarter account - including any spam folders). We use BackerKit for our pledge managers and they send out invites slowly over 48 hours so don't panic if it isn't there yet :)
You will have one month to provide us with your shipping details and name any extras you want to pledge for. (Note that you will not be charged for extras until we close the pledge manager in a month.) If you move after this time, you will still be able to edit your address after the November 15 cut off.

This is where you’ll be able to select the country in which your game will Ship or Switch your Pledge Level (If you backed at $1 for Example).
Click "Get Started" to continue, or "switch your pledge level" to do that.
> 1st Step
In this part of the Pledge Manager, you’ll be able to add additional items to your pledge: new/extra Gardens pledges or other Grail games such as Matcha, Hibachi, and more. These are only available for some areas and are in limited quantities. If you can't see an add-on you were hoping for, it is currently not available for you. If boats bearing goods dock at relevant places while the pledge manager is live we will let everyone know and you can edit your pledge to add-on any extra items at a later date.

Then there is the “Shipping" section where you’ll have to fill in all your details so we can ship your games to you as soon as The Gardens is printed and ready!
All there is left to do is click “Next” and confirm your Pledge.

Note that you will not be charged until we close the pledge manager in mid-November. (You will receive reminders when this is about to happen.)
Closing of the Pledge Manager/Late Pledge
The pledge manager will be closing its doors on November 15th, 2021!
BUT the surveys will still be editable for a few months after that, so if you move etc., you will be able to use the link in your emails to return to the pledge manager and edit your address, etc., for some time.
You can also return to your pledge manager any number of times until November 15th to change your items if you change your mind :)
Any other news...?
Yes! The language translations are nearing completion and the factory is currently preparing the game files for printing. We should be in the printing queue relatively soon!

Wow! It's all over!
Thank you so much - every 1032 of you - whether you pledged today or on day 1 or anywhere in-between. Due to your amazing support we are going to make two games that are near and dear to my heart - The Gardens and A Walk in the Park!
As you probably know by now, Sydney's Royal Botanic Garden is a famous and well-visited place for locals. I, like many who live here, have a deep attachment to The Gardens. I visited many times as a child for picnics or walks, and since joining up with my wife, we have seen concerts, wandered aimlessly, and even gotten engaged within its borders. (And if you had told me on that day years ago that I would one day make a game about that place, I simply would not have believed you!)
I simply cannot wait for The Gardens to come out. This game has become my passion project – not just because I instantly fell in love with the gameplay, but because the setting of the game is so dear to my heart. This game makes me smile because it shows a piece of me to the world. I’m just so proud of this game, and I thank illustrator Kerri, designers Matt and Brett, and every one of you for giving me this opportunity :) Thank you so much for coming along for the ride, and I can't wait for you to see, hold and play the games yourselves :D
What's next?
Over the next two weeks, Kickstarter will collect your pledges. Then, in two weeks, Kickstarter will pass those funds on to us. Once we have that cleared away, we will be preparing and then sending you a personal link to our post-campaign pledge manager where you will be able to add-on extra copies, other Grail titles (where possible) and let us know your delivery address. This will run for a month. In the meantime, we will begin work to get everything produced in a timely fashion at the factory.
In regards to getting the game ready to print, we are already about 90% there. We need to finish the look of the wooden pieces in the game, but the pre-press files are basically done, not counting proof-reading and translations. So once we can go to print, I am hopeful that the process will be as quick and painless as possible.
We will update you every step of the way - at least once a month - until the games are delivered to your doors!
So thanks once again for making our dream a reality. If all goes to plan we will update you in 2-4 weeks, outlining the pledge manager details. In the meantime, if you have any questions or comments, let us know here, or by messaging us directly.

Update #12 - Exclusive statues!

Hi to all our backers (we now have almost 850)! Thanks to each and every one of you for your support - it obviously means so much :) We have just over a day remaining in the campaign. And, as per our recent updates, I am more than happy to announce our second bonus free gift, unlocking today!
Now, every copy of the game pledged for at the Botanist level will include 15 wooden statues that are Kickstarter-exclusive (will not be available in stores). This is on top of the 12 Sydney landmarks that Botanists get, and the ibis start player marker that everyone gets :)
Just like the landmark pieces, the statues do not add rules but do add readability and a cool 3D look to your game. It will now be easier for all players at the table to see how many statues you have (for end-game scoring competition). It will also be really nice for your visitor meeples to walk amongst the statues on your board... and past the opera house, etc., too!
Note that we are still working on how these statues will look.

Update #11 - More gameplay for A Walk in the Park!

Hi to all our backers - I hope you're having a great weekend. As per our recent updates, I am more than happy to announce our first bonus free gift, unlocking today!
Now, as a thank you to everyone for their amazing support, we are doubling the amount of game play found in A Walk in the Park - the sister game to The Gardens. Now, on the reverse side of all 200 score sheets will be another score sheet... with an alternate layout!
This increases the number of plays in the box to 400, and adds variety. The new layout adds no new rules to the game, but tweaks the difficulty and flow of the game, should you wish to use it!
And there's more to come! Our second free gift for all copies pledged at the Botanist level, will be announced tomorrow! (Can you guess what it may be from the hint in the image above?
