June Third Thursday Update

Hello everyone,
Shanghai is open again and we've got The Gardens moving out!
Asia/RoW- Our team in China has finished shipping out all Kickstarter copies. If you haven't received your game please submit a ticket.
EU/UK- The container was loaded last Friday and should be hitting the water this week. Our early estimate is that these will arrive in mid-July with fulfillment beginning in late July and going through early August.
For UK backers, we'll be forwarding your copies to our partner Zatu. This does delay fulfillment by about 2 weeks compared to the EU, but it means there are no import fees and no one's games will get held up at customs.
US/SouthAmerica- The container was loaded on Tuesday and should be hitting the water next week. Our early estimate is that these will arrive in August with fulfillment beginning in either late August or early September. This is a bit longer than previous US shipments but traffic at the US centers has been packed so we expect this will take some time to get through the queue.
Australia/NewZealand& Canada- The games are loaded up at the factory and ready to move. We're coordinating with our other partners to fill up a container and get the games on the water. We should have them on the move very soon.

Some of you may have noticed that our website is currently down. This is just an issue we're having with the host and should be fixed soon.
In the meantime, you can use Matagot's websites to post tickets as they use the same software as us and have enabled tickets to be pushed through to the Grail team while we get this resolved.

Third Thursday Update - May 2022

Hi everyone!
As some of you have seen, retail copies of The Gardens have begun popping up in shops around Australia and New Zealand. This was due to mistakes on our part while coordinating containers and orders with our partners in Australia. It has been our intent with each of our titles to fulfill Kickstarter backer orders in a region first, and then have a retail release roughly 1 month later to give backers time to enjoy the game and have some exclusivity in their board game collection.
We were booking containers for both our sales partner in Sydney and our Kickstarter fulfillment partner in South Australia. The Sydney port gets more traffic and only had the one game so we were able to get it out the door extremely fast. The South Australian container was waiting on additional games to fill up the entire container when Shanghai went into lockdown. We’ve been working to get this container on the water ever since, but our freight staff has been forced to stay at home and hasn’t been able to finish setting up the container.
We made a further mistake by not communicating this delay with the distributor who went ahead and got the games on the shelves roughly a month after they arrived.
Please note that the copies you see on the shelves are retail editions and do not include some of the wonderful features that Kickstarter editions will have such as the Ibis token, A Walk in the Park game, or the wooden add-ons.
We will have these games to our backers around the world as soon as we can and thanks to our wonderful freight team are still keeping operations moving in Shanghai so that once the centers open we can get the games on the water as quickly as possible.
We apologize for our mistake and hope you will still enjoy The Gardens once it does arrive at your doorstep.

Early Thursday Update!

Hey everyone,
The Gardens is arriving on some lucky backers' doors! We're a bit early for the Third Thursday update, but we wanted to let you know about the games arriving in Asia.
Asia/RoW- Almost all copies have been mailed out. We have a couple of backers in Asia with incomplete addresses who have not responded to our emails. If you live in the greater Asia area and have not received a tracking notice please look for an email from @surfinmeeple.com that may have important requests for more shipping details.
EU/UK- Games were loaded at the end of March. We’re waiting for an updated timeline with the port delays due to Shanghai being in lockdown, but right now we’re estimating games arriving in France at the end of April and fulfillment in May. This is an early projection though.
AUS/NZ- Similar to the EU, we loaded at the end of March. We’re waiting for an updated timeline with the port delays due to Shanghai being in lockdown, but right now we’re estimating games arriving in South Australia in early May with fulfillment in mid-late May. This is an early projection though.
US/CAN- The games are at the warehouse but are currently in a queue to be loaded into containers. Traffic is a bit heavy at the moment so it's taking longer than usual, but we plan to have the games on the water soon.
We're working hard to get these games to your doorsteps as quickly as possible and hope you'll enjoy this game as much as we do.

Hello everyone!
Welcome to this new update! We're talking state of production and our next project!
Production is wrapping up and we recently received a sample copy that looks beautiful.
We're now working with our freight team to get container scheduled for each of our facilities.
Please note that containers are a lot more difficult to schedule at the moment and may take a bit longer than our usual turn around time.
We still plan to crush our original estimated fulfillment date of August by a few months, but we will need some time to get things moving.

Production Status
Early Mass Production Copy was approved and so production and assembly is wrapping up. This means that we are on line with what we announced schedule wise during the Campaign.
Other News
We are actually preparing our next Campaign! A game by Scott Almes called : Silicon Valley!
In Silicon Valley you'll play as a Startup CEO ready to launch products in order to get your Company's Market value to Skyrocket!
To do that, you'll hire employees, upgrade your HQ and gather Polyominos Code Elements to develop new technologies!
High interaction, planning and opportunism will be in the box of Silicon Valley!
